Weasis DICOM print

Hi,

I'm testing Weasis DICOM print, and I think there is a bug with printer port settings. If I set printer port to any value <1000 it works just fine, and here is part of java console log:

If I use any port >= 1000 (I need to use port 5040), Weasis just pops error message: "Unable to print the image.", and nothing is logged in console.

I think there is a problem with thousands separator in port edit box. Whatever I do, when I click OK button to close printer editor window, it automatically adds thousands separators (image in attachment). 

Did anyone had this problem? Any idea how to solve this?

Which version of Weasis are you running? because this issue should be fixed in recent version.

Could you try to reproduce the problem with the version 2 which should be released next week.

Thanks for reply. I did test with v1.2.9, and 2.0.0-beta05 that I found somewhere on net few days ago. There is same problem with thousands separator in printer setting , but in v2 I can not print anything on any port. When I look in log after pressing print in v2, all I can se is fallowing message:

28.05.2014 06:36:28.815 *WARN* [AWT-EventQueue-2] org.weasis.core.api.image.ZoomOperation Cannot apply "Zoom" because a parameter is null

I also did test with portable version that you sent me,... all the same as for v2.0.0-beta05 that I have (I don't know how to see log's from portable version, so I can't tell you what is in the log).

I did test on Windows XP, Windows 7 32bit, Windows 7 64bit and Ubuntu with JRE 1.6 and JRE 1.7, it's all the same for both versions of weasis.

Thanks for your feedback. I made some tests with PrintSCP software (see http://www.charruasoft.com/products/printscp/index.php) because I cannot do it right now with a real DICOM printer. I found some issues in Weasis 2 that is based on dcm4che 3.3.2.

I manage to successfully print with the version 1.2.9 and with the version 2 (which contain a new fixes) using the port 4444. Could you try again with the portable version 2 that should log now if there are still print exceptions.

I did test with this version and  DICOM Scope PrintSCP emulator, and now it works perfectly :) Thanks for quick fix. I hope final version would be available soon, so I can update it on our DCM4CHEE PACS server.
