Hello everyone, I'm trying to get my dcm4chee be able to make the search of images on another server. Like a forwarder of the requests made by the client.

eg

CLIENT1 -> DCM4CHEE1
DCM4CHEE1 -> DCM4CHEE2
DCM4CHEE2 -> DCM4CHEE1
DCM4CHEE1 -> CLIENT1

and would seek to recover, there is not the need of the images become DCM4CHEE1 they can be sent straight to CLIENT1

it is possible?

I don't think that this is possible as I never tried something out like that.
What DICOM Operations do you want to "proxy" ?

would be as a "proxy", he would act as the hub of all requests (C-FIND, C-MOVE) and forward to the other servers and respond to client

You can configure DCM4CHEE to use Storage Commit and pass every study thru' DCM4CHEE1. Then if you use the DeleteStudyOnlyIfExternalRetrievable filesystem attribute you will end up with a master record of studies on DCM4CHEE1. Now if you can query DCM4CHEE1 for a study and if it has forwarded a copy to DCM4CHEE2 and deleted (the files) from DCM4CHEE1 it will automatically retrieve from DCM4CHEE2 - I think this is correct but try and report back.

thanks for the idea, but it will not solve my problem.

I have two units that are interconnected by fiber, and the two network communicate by staticas NAT routes.
I have a commercial pacs, pacs but the blessed of the unit do not let the recovery of images, so the idea of a proxy.

Many thanks for the help
