dcm4chee 2.18.1 and which java version?

Hello,

I have planned to install dcm4chee 2.18.1 on debian 9.5

Do we still need to install java jdk 1.6 or we can install 1.7 or 1.8?

Just curious, 5.x is better, why do you use 2.x?

Because 2.x has web interface.

Java 7 will work (jdk 7u80), Java 8 won't.

5.x also has a web interface... are you referring to the jmx console?

The installation of 2.x is more simple than 5.x ;)
