please, could someone help me?

Is there a possibility of not merging studies? In dcm4chee-arc-light we often receive studies of several aetitle with the same patient id and dcm4chee-arc-light is merging and changing the names of the patients.

Thank you very much in advance

Studies belonging to different patients should have corresponding unique patient identifiers. If the sending systems are not ensuring unique patient identifiers, you can create a coercion rule to add an IssuerOfPatientID on receive of studies.
Create an Archive Attribute Coercion (Available at Menu -> Configuration page -> Devices tab -> dcm4chee-arc -> Device Extension -> Archive Device Extension -> Child Objects -> Archive Attribute Coercion) and set Merge Attribute as for eg., IssuerOfPatientID={PatientName,hash}-{PatientBirthDate}. (You may choose to use any attribute from DICOM dataset). Set DIMSE as C_STORE_RQ and DICOM Transfer Role as SCU. Configuring this rule will ensure that patient identifiers are unique when studies are stored to the archive.

You don't need to configure Nullify Issuer of Patient ID, Issuer of Patient ID and Issuer of Patient ID Format fields! Just set Merge Attribute field to IssuerOfPatientID={PatientName,hash}-{PatientBirthDate}

Hello,
This topic is old but can you help me? "You can create an enforcement rule to include an IssuerOfPatientID when importing studies." I want to do this operation. However the path you mentioned does not include the DCM Arc I installed. Can you show it with a photo?

Regards
