DICOM Dataset and Weasis 2.0 beta preview

This page gathers different DICOM samples for testing purposes.

Weasis 2.0 preview is available through the samples above or download it here. It contains:

• New window docking system
  
• dcm4che 3.2.1
• Read DICOM Key Object Selection (and create), Presentation State and Structured Report. PR and SR are not fully implemented.
  
• Orthogonal MPR
  
• MIP (min, mean and max)
  
• Crosshair tool for series sharing the same FrameOfReferenceUID
• Maven archetype for building custom plugins
  
• More customizations of the UI
  
• Better way to handle W/L (when scrolling and when preset window is larger than the image spectrum)

Still needs to do before releasing:

• Synchronization between views (improve UI for choosing the actions to propogate)
  
• Fix updating UI with KO (Use the new event api)
• Add custom presets

Note: MPR and MIP are a pure Java implementation. So the performance for loading data are not very good but the implementation allows to load series larger than the memory available for the application.
