Importing Patient Study Module attributes from MWLs into a received study

Hi all!

Our radiology information system uses the dcm4chee-arc server. The X-ray equipment reads MWL worklists from it and performs studies based on them. The study files are stored on the same server from which the MWLs were received. The problem is that not all MWL study-related attributes (e.g., patient height, weight, etc.) from the Patient Study Module are included in the Patient Study Module tag set of the study files. Is it possible to import this data from the MWLs into the dcm4chee-arc server when receiving a study?

Yes it's possible - see Archive Coercions Basic Overview You need to configure a "Merge from MWL" Coercion Type.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it out myself. The dcm4chee-arc documentation doesn't boast a wealth of practical examples and illustrations. So I had to figure everything out myself by trial and error.
