Change AET Title of AE extention named "DCM4CHEE" cause "Error 404 No such Application Entity: DCM4CHEE" when I want to delete an existing study

Hi there,

I intalled DCM4CHE-arc 5.13 whith docker. 

as my clients send their studies to EAT having a "aet title" named "MyPacs".... I changed the "AET Title" of the AE extention named "DCM4CHEE" in "MyPacs" (https://localhost:8443/dcm4chee-arc/ui2/#/device/edit/dcm4chee-arc/dicomNetworkAE%5B2%5D/properties.dicomNetworkAE )

To test it, a client sent me a study to "MyPacs" AET and it work fine.

But now when i try to delete this study with UI2 : https://localhost:8443/dcm4chee-arc/ui2/#/studies , i have this message : "Error 404 No such Application Entity: DCM4CHEE"

So i change again the name of my AE extention and it work,.... and i can delete it.

But nobody can now send me studies to EAT having a title named "MyPacs".

So i decided to created a new AET to have a AET Title named "MyPacs" but i seems complicated to re-create a EAT from scratch. There is a lot of "Transfer capabilitie' to custom....

Is there is a means to duplicate/clone my standard AET named "DCM4CHEE" to "MyPacs" ?

Perhabs i must clone the device named "dcm4chee-arc" ?

And Is there is a UI2 guide like in the previous version : https://www.dcm4che.org/docs/reference/dcm4chee/html/dcm4chee-ui-guide.html ?

Hi,

the reason why you couldn't delete the study is probably, that you didn't reload the page (of the UI) and in the memory of the ui was still the old name of the AET (I have opened an Issue to fix that). So if you change the name back to "MyPacs" and reload the page should all work fine.

If you decide to clone the DCM4CHEE AET anyway you can do that with the clone button (see attachment) in the UI.

In additionnal : i changed the eat title since 3 or 4 days, so i'm not sur that it's a browser cache problem.

I changed the Aet from DCM4CHEE to DCM4PACS.

The archive with the new AET accepts studies, but I can not display them because the new AET is not in the list.

And when you try to access the old one, an error pops up.

I cleared the browser cache. The server rebooted completely. What am I doing wrong?

You have to change the reference also in the Web Application's web service path . The dropdown list you see on Studies tab is that of Web Applications and not Application Entities!

I did the recommendation of changing  "Web Applications" and "Application Entities", but still if in the drop-down list is the new name now I am getting the error:

There is another place that need to be changed that I am missing?, or would be possible to have a step by step procedure how to change the AETitle of the DCM4CHEE on the GibHub?

Thanks for the quick reply really apreciated, I was missing the "Web Service Path", I replace and now I don't get any error from the web,

but the problem now is if I send (C-MOVE or C-FIND) or upload  with the web I get and Rejected association because of the "Called AE Title Not Recognized" which is related with the AEtile that I changed, for example with DCMTK:

I restarted the machine just in case and the same.

Hi,

before you try the upload in the UI again, pleas open the Inspect of your browser (F12) go to Network Tab and check which URL is used (check if in the URL is still the old AET if so check all your webapps if you forgot to change the Aet on any Web service class or similar )and what do you get as response?
