web based DICOM viewer

am trying to build a web based dicom viewer , it was recommended to use the dcm4che toolkit but i don't know how to start.
for building the web application i chose to use asp.net on visual studio 
now i need to know how to use the toolkit with visual studio , also i know its written in java and it needs a JDK so would it work to use it with the asp.net
should i use java as a helping lang. in the asp.net application? would i be able to use another lang (c#)
am i thinking this right or am i in the wrong direction am so confused

The dcm4che toolkit is for Java, since you are using C# you should look at fo-dicom:

Since you are writing a web based DICOM viewer, you might also want to look at cornerstone:

so if i choose to use java and dcm4che toolkit is it possible to implement the web app using asp.net on visual studio or should i use eclipse or other JDK

If you want to use java and dcm4che, you should not use asp.net
