how patients can view studies online

Hi All

In my setup DCM4CHEE is running as PACS server. Now I have to implement a new requirement that patients can see their studies (JPEG image of their tests) online. Pls help me how can I do it. I can not make user id for each patient in dcm4chee web interface. Moreover in that case each patient has to be given a different role so that he/she can only see related study. Furthermore patient ID is generated in Hospital Information System (HIS) which is not connected to DCM4CHEE.

I have searched forums and got faint idea of using WADO. But I am not a programmer.  I understand that this task will also involve conversion of DICOM object to images. Can this requirement be met through JMX console to tweak the DCM4CHEE web interface or can only be done through programming. Pls give some idea / pointer how to go about it.
