Move between storage systems

Hello,

I have a dcm4chee-arc instance with a couple of filesystems attached to it. Recently, we have added a S3 bucket as a new archive device for our PACS.

I would like to know if there is a way to move all the studies stored into the two initial filesystems to the new archive device on the S3 bucket. Could this be done?

Yes, but there isn't necessarily a need to have new archive device for that. You could connect a S3 also to existing archive and configure it as a Nearline Storage.

You have options to automatically export all studies to S3 as soon as they are received in archive (using Export Rule + Exporter) or you may manually export existing studies using REST / UI to S3 using a Nearline Storage Exporter
