My team and I are developers at Radiology Partners, and we're building a new product that relies heavily on DCM4CHE for low level DICOM operations. We would like to actively contribute to DCM4CHE, and would appreciate some guidance on the best way to get started.

• Is there a preferred process for proposing new features or bug fixes?
• What's the best way to get pull requests reviewed by the maintainers?
• Are there any specific coding standards or guidelines we should be aware of?

We're eager to contribute and want to ensure that we're following the correct procedures to make the process as efficient as possible for the maintainers.
