In order to run weasis in systems with no java installed i read that...
"The executable (weasis-win32.exe) allows to embed a JRE in the directory "jre/windows" (weasis-portable/jre/windows/bin/java.exe)" .
So what kind of java (version) and which files are adviced to be copied to the above directory in order weasis to be run in systems with no java...
Thanks!

On Windows, you need to download a JRE 32-bit (there is no restriction about the version), install it and then copy the content of C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_60 into
"weasis-portable/jre/windows".

If a JRE is installed on the machine which runs Weasis with a embedded JRE, the JRE installed locally will be used in priority.

Hello,

i have installed weasis in DCM4CHEE (new web Interface).
Is embedding Java also possible? For Clients with no Java installed and they want to use weasis for viewing studies?

Regards

The initial question was about the portable version that is placed on a removable support (like a CD) with the images.

For the web distribution, the Java Web Start launcher will suggest automatically to install Java (not the case on all the web browsers).
