Annonymize

Hi Team,

Can we set up a rule like whenever StoreSCP receives data from a particular source AET, then we can annonymize ( or set a customized value) for the patient name, ID and other tags ?

I am using dcm4chee-arc5 version.

If you mean whenever archive receives studies and there is already an export rule configured to forward studies to STORESCP -> then anonymize studies forwarded to STORESCP

- To do this, you can configure an Archive Attribute Coercion rule with DIMSE as C_STORE_RQ and Role as SCP, specifying Conditions as required and selecting BasicApplicationConfidentialityProfile as De-identification

Can we a do  de-identification of all the studies received by default at dcm4chee-archive5? 

Or de-identification of studies received by a particular source AET.

You may start another DCM4CHEE archive instance acting as cache archive in between the main DCM4CHEE archive and modality sending objects currently to the main DCM4CHEE archive.

- Redirect modality flow to cache archive -> configure a STOW Exporter [together with Attribute Coercion (to deidentify on STOW exports)] to export objects anonymized to main DCM4CHEE archive.

- Post export, you can optionally choose to delete data from the cache archive either by configuring a Delete Study From Storage ID or Export Triggered Rejection of Objects with Data Retention Expired
