Add Patient and Study to DCM4CHEE 5.X

I just installed the DCM4CHEE 5.16.1 using Postgres and Linux. Now I am tryng to understand how to use it. I think that the first step is to know how to add Patients and Studies, can anyone help me with it?  There is any documentation to help to use the DCM4CHEE, I am having trouble with it too. Thanks.

Do you know about AETITLE, PORT, IP ADRESS configuration?

Not so much. I'm tryng to simulate de use of the DCM4CHEE in my computer before use it with real equipments. How can I do this?

Are you brazilian? Its more easier to me explain, but I will try.

Every medical equipament or medical system (Pacs and some dicom viewers)have a local IP, port and AETITLE.

The default  AETITLE, port and IP of Dcm4che are
AETITLE: DCM4CHEE
PORT: 11112
IP: its the IP Adress of the Server.

So if you want to make a test, you need a medical software on the other side to send and receive studies.

I use to test a software called Kpacs, its a free dicom viewer and I can send and receive studies using it.

You need to download a dicom viewer and configure the AETITLE, port and IP of dcm4chee in your  dicom viewer, so you can send studies to your dcm4chee.

Então eu posso baixar o KPacs, configurar no DCM4CHEE as informações de conexão, e utilizando o KPACS enviar estudos? Esses estudos posso baixar arquivos testes da internet?

Na verdade voce devera fazer a configuração do DCM4CHEE no KPACS, e os exames voce pode pegar os testes da internet mesmo como voce mencionou.
As vezes voce terá que fazer a configuração do KPACS no DCM4CHEE também, caso nao funcione.

Obrigada pela a ajuda, seguindo suas instruções consegui essa etapa inicial! Só que tive que usar o weasis pq o kpacs só achei para Windows e estou trabalhando no Linux.

Que isso se precisar de algo só dizer,  o procedimento nos aparelhos médicos é o mesmo, só cadastrar os dados do dcm4chee nos aparelhos e testar.
