MySQL EAR deployment error

Greetings,

I'm a newbie so please don't beat me up - unless of course, you find it completely justifiable...

I've been working on a Ubuntu deployment of DCM4CHEE. I've done extensive research into the issues that I've been having and made a good first impression thus far. However, I've hit a roadblock of which I find very little feedback on from either the Google groups that I've been trawling, or the DCM4CHE forums and wondered if I can pose a question...

Brief summary

• "Hardware" : Ubuntu 13.10 x64 headless running 512Mb RAM, 20Gb disk under a VirtualBox test environment.
  
• "Software" : DCM4CHEE 2.17 (MySQL) with ARR 3.0.11, JBoss 4.2.3GA and an extracted libclib_jiio.so from Sun's AII Tools 1.1
  

After (finally) getting over the hurdle of the WADOService not starting, I am now running into an error with (what I believe to be) dcm4chee-web-ear-3.0.1-mysql.ear:

 I've attached the full log file.

Any ideas anyone?

I think that the documentation on the DCM4CHE site needs updating perhaps.  Installing JDK6 and setting that to be the default solved my issues.
