Do you know what could be the problem when configuring C-move on weasis?

I have registered AE in DCM4CHEE arc light 5.16.1, but I get a message that says Network unreachable: no further information

C-Get works with any problem, even not registering AE

By the way, do you know if C-GET can be established as default method in any config file of weasis.

thank you very much.

See my inline comments

If it is related to your previous post: Start by checking how to connect weasis directly to DICOMWeb services

It sounds like the host of the DICOM node is not reachable from dcm4chee.

This is how C-GET works.

Hello Nicolas, thank you very much for your quick response.

I am aware that c-get do not requiere registering ae, which is no the case of c-move. The host is reachable, as i change to c-get method it works, so there is no networking problem there. If you tell me how, I can post more log data, but there is no notice of c-move attempt in dcm4chee log.

thanks for the reference you post me.

cheers

Pablo

The operations of C-GET and C-MOVE are different from a network point of view. For this reason, configuring a firewall with C-MOVE is more tricky.

With C-Get the connection is initiated from the client and the images are retrieved in the same network negotiation. While C-Move has 3 actors and it is done in several network negotiations. Especially for sending the images it is the server that initiates another connection and makes a C-Store towards the client.

Hello,

i am trying again with c-move on weasis,

I have changed localhost parameter with the external ip of the host, but a got a new error.

"Can not start DICOM Listener"

Firewall are disabled, and weasis is running with admin privileges.

Any idea of what could be the problem?

thanks

Normally, when we get that error, it is because another Weasis session is already running, using the port number.

Sometimes, it is another user, logged into the same computer.

You could try changing port number 11113, but then you have to update it on the PACS server also.

/Niels
