Create new archive (IOCM)

Hi everyone,

Maybe my problem will seem a bit silly, I apologize. 

I would like to test the IOCM profile, to do so I want to store a study in DCM4CHEE and then to create a copy of it in another AE Title independent from DCM4CHEE. Once this is done, i will send a Rejection Note in DCM4CHEE and then check if both archives made the necessary changes. 

The problem I have is to create this second AE Title. I have tried different ways such as https://github.com/dcm4che/dcm4chee-arc-light/wiki/Generic-Storage.

But every time when I add a study to DCM4CHEE it also "adds" it directly to the other AE. 

It seems to me that it doesn't really add the study to the other AE but that both AE have the same database, they are just two different ways to access it.

Maybe one of you can give me a lead on how to proceed to create the second AE Title I need ?

Yes thank you ! I believe this is what I was looking for, I will try to set it up !

There is one more thing I would like to ask :

What are the storage systems ? I tried creating a new AE with a different storage system from DCM4CHEE. (I created the storage system). 

But I don't quite see the difference between the new AE and DCM4CHEE... I thought that when I add a study to DCM4CHEE, the new AE wouldn't have it but it does...

Hello,

The storage system that you create and reference it on AE, is just to indicate the storage system, where object(s) get stored, when you use the specific AE while storing object(s) to archive.

If your requirement is that one AE should not be able to view object(s) stored by another AE, then you need to refer : https://github.com/dcm4che/dcm4chee-arc-light/wiki/Access-control-based-on-Archive-AEs
