Hi,
I’m new to the world of PACS and DICOM, so please bear with me — I’m still learning!
I recently installed DCM4CHEE on a Debian VM and set it up with weasis as the DICOM viewer. I successfully imported a few studies directly from an ultrasound device, and they now appear in the archive.
However, I’m not sure how to delete studies that were imported — either from the web interface or via another method. I would really appreciate any help or guidance, especially since I’m still a beginner in this field.
Thanks in advance for your support!
Hi Sara,
I'm new here as well, but I think I’ve figured out the process. Here’s what I usually do:
First, select the study you want to delete by checking the box next to it. (click on the 3 dots)
Then, reject the study by choosing a rejection type and selecting "Retention Expired". (you would have to click on the 3 dots again)
After that, go to the top menu and click "More Functions", then select "Permanent Delete".
Again, choose "Retention Expired" as the reason.
Finally, click "Delete All" to complete the process.
Once that's done, you can either resubmit or recount, and the study should now be removed.
I'm running
dcm4chee-arc-archive 5.23.0
