Oviyam 2.4 Release

The next point release of Oviyam version 2.4 has been released with the following improvements and bug fixes. This is a recommended upgrade for all users. As usual your feedback is needed for improvement.

New Features

• OV-165 Add support for PNG image type in WADO retrieval.
  

Enhancements

• OV-166 Image navigation slider UI improvements.
  
• OV-167 Study Comparison - Add download invoker for archived studies.
  
• OV-168 Display both study and series time in same format (12 or 24 hours).
  

Bug Fixes

• OV-163 Patient name is not encoded in UTF-8 while launching viewer with direct URL.
  
• OV-164 For some selected studies, image navigation doesn't move to the next image as expected.
  
• OV-170 Unable to collapse the expanded series information in query result list.
  

  

Notes:-

• OV-165, The WADO server should support PNG image type retrieval. DCM4CHEE 2.18.1 and above supports PNG format in WADO image retrieval.
  
• OV-166,  UI for image navigation slider has been improved and it's visibility is no longer user configurable.

It will only if i used the option of " request desktop version in the browser ' firefox '
Then the search page will open
I can select the study ' and it will open as thumbnails
But it didnot open or load the images

I found an error in Study.jsp on rows:

The problem is the variable ${studyId}. Replace it with ${param.study}.
This error is the responsible of cFIND request at image level without StudyInstanceUID. With dcm4chee release 2 it was working, but with latest release 5.9.2 Oviyam was not working.
I would like to correct it directly but I'm not really expert in SVN export so I let somebedy else fix the repository.

Thank you for your feedback. Actually its not an error. Some improvements are necessary for oviyam to work with dcm4chee 5.x. For now, oviyam is suitable for dcm4chee 2.x.

I did not want to say that with that rows corrected you can deploy oviyam in dcm4chee 5, but you can use oviyam to do Q/R against dcm4chee 5.
I keep to think that in Study.jsp there're those errors. ${studyId} never get a value in this file.
