Unable to delete images from dcm4chee admin web

Hi,

I tried to delete images attached to a study using dcm4chee admin web, the images are getting deleted for some studies but for few studies its not getting deleted.

Below is the error message :

" Deletion of selected entities could not be done because one or more of them already exists in the thrash with different Patient IDs. Please permanently delete these manually from the thrash and then redo the deletion of folder."

I followed the instruction, but still the same error message is coming if i delete the images. Any idea how to solve this issue.

Hi Ajay,

You need to insert a dicom tag(0010,0021 IssuerOfPatientID) to the study you want to delete. You can do it from the web3 interface.

Thank you, I have given the value to pat_id_issuer, then it worked.

This solution is partially working. It deletes only one image at a time, then to delete another image in the same series, I have to empty the thrash and then select another instant and delete. Deletion of entire series or many instances of a series is not happening. Any solution please?
