In older versions (such as 5.16) it was possible to select storage nodes in Web App Service menu to display only exams sent to that node. My configuration is based on this documentation and it works very well with Q/R but in the 5.23.0 portal, I didn't find a way to filter by storage nodes.

Not sure what exactly you mean by "it was possible to select storage nodes in Web App Service menu to display only exams sent to that node" - because the old studies page did not have web applications dropdown. The access control based on Archive AEs feature is still available and has not been changed. I will update that page concerning the last point in Verification. Since version 5.19.1 the new study page requires web applications configurations (which is also present in default configuration). An Application Entity may have a web application associated to it if it can perform DICOM Web Services. For eg. Default config has a DCM4CHEE Web Application wherein the DCM4CHEE AE is associated to it.
If the requirement is that an AE of own archive is enabled to only perform Q/R and not DICOM Web and the exams are to be displayed over UI, currently the workaround might be to use it in a similar way as one may access external archive over DIMSE.

Thanks Vrinda for your reply. You're right it was not Web App Service but Internal AET (e.g. in 5.17.0)

How can you display the new nodes which have been created from Child objects > Network AEs in the latest version?

I can only select AS_RECEIVED to show all the exams but not specifically PROJECT1.

For the new created / cloned AEs, you also need to create / clone the corresponding Web Applications by going to Devices -> dcm4chee-arc -> Device Extension -> Child Object -> Web Applications. The corresponding info are in following wiki pages :

To make configuring new AEs easier for the user, convenience of configuration of new web applications has been requested to be prioritized.

Thanks, it works now as expected.

I vote for the issue!
