SR to ORU

Hi,
has anyone ever heard of the conversion of the structured report stored in pacs to the HL7 ORU-R01 message ?
I think about it in the context of integration Teleradiology (Remote report) with HIS

Hi Koval,

I think it can, but havent tried it though.

I think you can convert the SR to xml file and make a function where you can read the xml file and arrange it the format you like to produce ORU message.

yes, I even have an outline of the project how to process DICOM to HL7 (dcm2xml-xslt-xml.out-hl7),
HL7 will send eg. mitrh, but who (which process of dcm4chee) will notify me of SR incoming ?

Hi,

As i know this structured report is send as a DICOM file just like DICOM Images from Modalities. 

And also ORU is being produced after the user created the report for a study.
