Incomplete information of MWL in dcm4chee-arc-psql-5.19.0-secure

Hi,

I have deployed dcm4chee-arc-psql-5.19.0-secure dockerized (docker compose installation) and configured HL7Receiver then sent MWL HL7files which are being shown in MWL list of my dcm4chee but complete information is not present. Detail is as follow:

Information I am sending in MWL HL7 file:

Patient ID

Patient Name

Patient's Birth Date

Sex

Accession Number

Modality

Scheduled Procedure Step ID

Requested Procedure ID

Information showing in dcm4chee MWL list:

Patient ID

Patient Name

Date of Birth

Sex

Information not showing in dcm4chee MWL list:

Accession Number

Modality

Scheduled Procedure Step ID

Requested Procedure ID

Accession Number, Modality, Scheduled Procedure Step ID, Requested Procedure ID are placed according to the HL7 conformance report as Accesstion Number is placed at OBR:18 and others are at their respective places etc.

For testing I have sent same HL7 file with dcm4chee-5.19.0 and dcm4chee-5.15.1, but facing problem only with dcm4chee-5.19.0 as MWL information in dcm4chee-5.15.1 is complete.

I am attaching HL7 file and screen shots of MWL list (of both version of dcm4chee i.e dcm4chee-5.15.1 and dcm4chee-5.19.0). I also want to add Referring Physician in my MWL file.

Need guidance on this.

Hi, you must use OMI^023 message instead ORM^001 and send that information in IPC segment.

Thank you Jeffry for your reply. It helped me a lot.

Accession Number, Modality, Scheduled Procedure Step ID, Requested Procedure ID shown in my MWL. But Referring Physician and Institution Name is not showing. Even though I have tried to send Physician Name in "PV1:8" segment but did not succeeded.

Need further assistance on this.

Hi nutun, Reffering Physician information is sent as part of PV1 segment

Reffering Physician Code: PV1.8.1

Reffering Physician Family name: PV1.8.2

Reffering Physician Given name: PV1.8.3

Example:

PV1|||||||2342^Jones^Bob||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
