Hi,
I find that the study size given by the study size endpoint (which corresponds to Study Size in KB (7777,1029) + Study Size Bytes (7777,102A) ) is not equal to the size of the study on a user's machine after they have retrieved the study from DCM4CHEE.
The value of summing the Storage Object Size (7777,1053) of each instance is also different from the Study Size as given by the endpoint and different still from the size of a retrieved study.
Could someone please explain to me the difference between these three values (1. the Study Size from study size endpoint/tag, 2. the sum of the Storage Object Size of each instance in the study, 3. The actual size of the retrieved study)?
Could all these discrepancies be due to compression?
Ultimately I would like a way to query the actual size of the retrieved study before I retrieve so I know how much storage space it is going to take up on the destination.
Thanks,
Mike
