unable to uninstall PACS package in Synology rackmount NAS

The PACS package by dcm4che that came in the DSM7 OS of the Synology NAS is showing an error message in the package center. Uninstalling fails so does a manual update or an automatic update. There is no specific reason provided by the error message: just failed. Any help to reset this app would be appreciated. Seems some dependent packages needed to run it are already working: docker+mariaDB.
