How to add new AE type?

As the title says. Is there a way to add new AE type? We have CT, MR, CR. I wanted to add OPV.

How about adding Station AET? Where can i add?

You can add a Application Entity going to:

Menu->Configuration->Aelist->New AET

And Fill:

Name: "name to identify AE"

Hostname: "DNS or IP of the AE"

Port: "AE port"

AE Title: "put AE Title here"

By the way i noticed, you are using different version of DCM4Chee? Is it latest 5.0.24-arc?

I recently configured and started using dcm4chee-2.18.1 with mysql. I personally wanted to configure latest  5.0.24-arc but looks like it has lot of dependencies like LDAP, and when i was trying i got issues while importing LDIF files... guess there are bugs.. Saw some issues similarly faced with others. is there any way to install/configure latest dcm4chee without LDAP or its Must? 

Have you configured LDAP in your version? its looks very clean and nice as compared to 2.18.1

Hello, yes i'm using dcm4chee-arc5.x

I think the easy way to start is deploying it with docker:

Docker make things easier because, you will not have to care about configuration of ldap, ldif files etc.

As far as i know, there is no way to setup dcm4chee-arc 5 without LDAP.

thanks for the update. docker can be used for production? is there any other alternative way to setup  dcm4chee-arc 5 by using ISO? is there ISO available (pre-packed) so i can download and configure further...

I dont know any ISO with dcm4chee-arc... And docker can be used for production, docker is reliable and very easy to manage.
