Get a list of study

I used dcmqr to get a list of studies on DCM4CHEE. I am just wondering if there is other command or better way to do it.

The command returns with study ID and UID, can I get patient information using the same command?

Another way I am thinking is to get information from the mysql database directly. Is that recommended?

You can request additional attributes with the -r option e.g.  -r PatientName -r PatientID
