Attribute Coercion Issue / Ignoring nested Attribute

Hello,

We currently have an issue with the following:

Our client is using an Ultra Sound device which has it's own DICOM Conformance Statement, for which we need to change the data that is sent from our system.

The issue lies therein that when the US Device calls our MWL, it also calls the tag 0040,0100 which has a nested tag 0040,0020.

The Tag 0040,0020 is not supported by the US Devices DICOM Conformance Statement and needs to be ignored / removed when the MWL is queried.

I have attempted to remove this nested tag through Attribute Coercion, the new and legacy versions, but so far I have failed. When querying with findscu the Tag is always still returned.

Can someone help me with a proper guide for settings for the Attribute Coercion or show a working method?
