[2.17.1] Restore images from /dcm4chee/server/default/archive

Hi,

Our server got hacked and many files got encrypted, but not the archive directory...

DCM4CHEE version is 2.17.1.

Is there a way to restore back those images?

Our backup is missing 1 day.

the easiest is to restore you last database backup and send in the remaining images with dcmsnd or storescu from the dcm4che2/3 toolkit.

after that you should resend any HL7 ADT changes that might have happened in that time period to track patient merges/updates.

also I would consider upgrading to version 5.x if that is possible for you.
