weasis-pacs-connector 6.1.3 and weasis-dicom-tools 1.2.1 released

A new version version of weasis-pacs-connector is available for download. It contains some fixes and allow to run Weasis on Java 9 (with all the new restrictions of Java WebStart).

• Enable running Weasis on Java 9 (with all the new restrictions of Java WebStart)
  
• Getting jnlp protocol by redirection (see launching jnlp)
  
• Allow the configuration of the default max memory size of Weasis
  
• Add double quotes for command parameters in jnlp (requires by Weasis 2.6.0 and later)
  

The weasis-dicom-tools library has also been released (version 1.2.1). 

It contains a new DICOM forwarding API with attributes management (CGetForward, StoreScpForward and DicomGateway). This API provides the base to build a DICOM gateway with rules to modify attributes without handling the whole file in memory (only the metadata) and without writing temporary files (in most cases the forward is directly through the network, otherwise only 2-3 files are written in tmp).

Hi, For those of us who are using custom pacs connectors, can you specify what changes will be required in the jnlp file to be compatible with Java 9?

If you mean the Java Webstart configuration, look at those files.

Weasis 2.6.0 should be available very soon.
