Is there a way to lengthen the DIMSE timeout in DCM4CHEE 5.9? I see a lot of TCP, association, and response/retrieve timeouts in the Network Connection Attributes - are these equivalent to the old DIMSE timeout?

I have a device sending large images over a VPN and it is slow going. Some never arrive with the logs indicating a storage request, but no response (and a closing of the socket). It may be their end timing out, but want to do due diligence on my end.

Thank you.

Increasing the Wildfly transaction timeout seems to have solved the issue. I'd still like to know if there is a DIMSE timeout configuration elsewhere, though.
Thanks.

There is no timeout configured by default. s. configurable timeouts http://dcm4chee-arc-cs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/networking/config/networkConnection.html

During which operation the Transaction Timeout occurred? Can you provide me the stack trace?

Increasing the transaction timeout of the Wildfly Server greatly helps (http://technicles.com/how-to-increase-the-timeout-of-wildfly-server/). I have not seen a failure for a bit now, but I'd still like to know if the DIMSE timeout is still available to change and where.

Thanks.

Thanks gunter for the docs link. I did look there first, but wanted to ensure I wasn't missing anything.

I've attached the relevant bit of the log. The other site indicates they are seeing timeout errors on their end, which I think is the primary cause of the exception in the log, but increasing the transaction timeout on my end did help. The errors happen at (or during?) the storage request.

If you notice anything, please let me know.

Thanks again.
