Hi All,

in the Czech Republic, the birth number is used as patient_ID. It can be
in the format yyyymmdd/xxxx or yyyymmddxxxx. Our company uses
yyyymmddxxxx. The problem arises when searching for studies from
external sources that use the format yyyymmdd/xxxx. Is there a setting
that would automatically remove the slash from patient_ID when
processing a study?

Thank you for your help

Maybe you can create a coercion rule to remove the slash: https://dcm4chee-arc-cs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/networking/config/archiveAttributeCoercion2.html

Your query is not completely clear. If the external sources use a slash i.e. yyyymmdd/xxxx, removal of the same in C-FIND requests when you search for patients in the external C-FIND-SCP will not help. When you say "processing a study", what are you implying? - Are you referring to C-FIND response you get from the external source? Perhaps you need coercions for both outgoing C-FIND requests and incoming C-FIND responses to this external source.
