HTTP HEAD request doesn't return 404 if the image is not present

When I use HEAD method of HTTP https://192.168.33.10/oviyam2/viewer.html?patientID=GAN203003&accessionNumber=ORD-304 to send this request to oviyam2 even if there is no image, I am getting 200 response instead of 404.

is there any other easy way to check whether image is present or not?
