Nope! FiveM does not interact with the Rockstar Online Services other than to validate your game copy the first time you launch it. This validation emulates the game's interaction, and can not be detected by Rockstar.
FiveM also doesn't modify your game files at all, even when downloading server assets, so you don't have to do anything to switch between FiveM and GTA:O.

i understand that but why do all the big servers make there money because they get more than the hosting price and they sell stuff like cars and money and pay to open gangs because ive seen that on multiple servers and from my perspective thats in violation of fivem TOS if im not wrong so ive never understood how there still running if its in violation of TOS
it takes a long time to make a credible fiveM server, maybe not after you learn it, but there is a HUGE learning curb to developing a whole server by yourself in the beginning and some people start with no coding knowledge atall. so id say your time is priceless an developers deserve every dime
Hello all. I know that ich777 already has a FiveM server container. I used that for awhile, but I am trying to add ESX to my server, ich777's repo doesn't use txadmin which i need in order to add ESX to my server. I found a docker container to add but can't figure out how to configure it within unraid. Here's the link: If anyone can help me get this configured and added, that would be great. I know how to add the docker. But i don't know how to add the configuration script.
I found how to do it. In the initial setup delete the server.cfg perameter, and add a new port that is 40120. What i catn seem to get working is a MySQL/Mariadb server for the database. I have tried at least a dozen different containers for sql none of them work for the server. If anyone can help, that would be amazing!
Hey everyone! Quick little question. For hosting a FiveM server, would I want a linux or Windows VPS. I understand Linux is far more difficult to get set up, however I cannot find any Windows VPS. Any help is amazing.
Even one distribution (which is also generally outdated, and would not suffice for building or running FXS without system-wide changes to library versions) would not fix some issues inherent in that design.

So you opened, on your router dashboard port 30120, 2 times output, 2 times input. You have to do it for TCP and UDP. Input and output. In total: 4 times on your router. Than you to the same, with TCP and UDP and input and output on your firewall. Also 4 times. When it than not works, im sorry.
Everything is at the highest level, Tech support is fast and efficient, the hardware is just a bomb, the servers are super, I bought an average build for the Unturned server, nothing lags, does not hang, the average ping is 45.

Not trying to crap talk FiveM, however;
As a former server owner (was about for a year+) - I can say respectfully and confidently, RageMP is much smoother and expandable then FiveM. FiveM has great mod support, don't get me wrong - and has a lot of good development scripts that are released to the public. However, almost every FiveM server has the same sort of 'base' (either a Econ server, or a Menu server). RageMP is extremely reliant on the Developers making their own code, and having their own ideas rather then expanding to a 'community forum' where the majority of servers get their script support for the generalized players (not saying Rage doesn't have scripts open to the public, but its not like how FiveM is)
FiveM as I see as-well, is very "Play to Win" - as in, to get features for the server (like EUP and more then 32 players) - you have to pay $15-$30 a month.. Just to use EUP.. which is uniform pack, or to get a color in the server name. Server Owners are not legally allowed to make a profit, however, ZapHosting and FiveM (which claim they aren't owned by each other, but they are lol. It's a front.) gets to bank thousands of dollars a year off of server owners and players, simply looking to make a more enjoyable time for a community.
RageMP as I see it, is you self host or buy a host, much like how SA:MP was back in the day, rather then having to buy a host, and then buy extra features just to get adequate script support.
Just my thoughts.. I haven't been on FiveM in about two years, nor have I owned/developed a server in a very long time. So things can be different.. However, some friends that still own servers, say it's the same thing.
my tldr?: FiveM is more for clans and "police" gaming communities, and lack a lot of features that are easily accessible on RageMP that you don't have to purchase. FiveM counts on the money coming in to give you a small bits of access, to something like on RageMP, it is free to do and much more expandable on. FiveM developers have ignored the community that have fixed OneSync and multiple server based problems, years ago, but yet they still won't accept the source code from some really good developers, because it means they would have to make it free and actually expandable to the community, rather then hogging it under a nose of cash.
