$10K for 10 Great Years of DC Gamma
Gentlemen,
Our 10-Year Charter Anniversary weekend is fast approaching. We already have great turnout with 30 alumni tickets purchased, and another 30 or so RSVPed Yes. We still have plenty of space for you (and your dates) to join us - you can pick up your tickets here on our Eventbrite page. |
In addition to serving as a reunion and celebration of the chapter's history, the 10-Year Charter Anniversary weekend will be a fundraising opportunity to ensure the sustainability of our brotherhood. After 10 years of chapter history with limited fundraising initiatives, we are excited to see how much more our growing fraternity (now over 100 undergrads on campus) can do with a more established culture of alumni support.
To that end, we have set a goal of raising $10,000 to support various, specific areas of need in the chapter. And we are already a quarter of the way there, with $2,500 in donations pledged.

Where Your Gift Goes
Over the coming weeks, we'll be highlighting areas where the chapter most needs our support. Today we ask you to make your gift to one of the initiatives described below. |
 Fall 2010 Retreat |
1. Retreat Fund - Taking a weekend each semester to hold a dry, off-campus retreat is proof we mean it when we say "This fraternity will be different." Retreat participation has skyrocketed, with more than 80 brothers attending this spring's event. The Retreat Fund balance today offers less than $200/retreat -- it was envisioned to provide $500. Your gift helps us boost the fund balance to match attendance growth. Click here to donate. |

2. Ritual Equipment - Rising chapter membership necessitates more Phi, Epsilon, and Brother Mentor Rituals for larger classes. Our goal is to raise funds to allow the chapter to buy an additional set of ritual equipment in order to set up two rooms at once and avoid 8-hour ritual days. Click here to donate. |

All gifts are appreciated, and we invite you to give as you are able. Giving Levels are listed below. All donors will be recognized at Saturday's banquet. Red Level and higher donors will go home with commemorative 10th Anniversary swag.

$1,000-$1,999: Gold
