Tom Bosco ('12) reached out to me recently about creating a way to ensure we leverage our existing SigEp network into real world job advice and opportunities. With our growing alumni ranks, I also thought it would be good to create a forum for us to casually reconnect, meet up when we're visiting other cities, share updates with brothers, etc.

With that in mind, we've created a Georgetown SigEp LinkedIn group that is open to both undergraduates and alumni, and a Facebook group for alumni. Alumni were invited to both last night, undergrads can click the link above to request to join the LinkedIn group.

Facebook helps alums in far-flung cities stay in touch. On LinkedIn, undergraduates can access a wide network of alums in different professions and reach out to them for advice, while alumni can use the group as a resource when they're looking for a new job or have an opening at their company they'd like to share.

With the graduation of the class of 2013 last spring, we topped 100 alumni brothers. We hope these groups can help maintain the DC Gamma network and strengthen our lifelong bonds of brotherhood.
