While we celebrate where we've come from and where we are today, we also want to look to the future and ensure our chapter is supported to flourish for years to come. With that in mind, thank you to the 11 alumni who have already pledged or donated over $3,500 toward our goal of raising $10,000.

Where Your Gift Goes
In our last message, we identified a couple areas of need in the Retreat Fund and Ritual Equipment, and received fantastic feedback and pledges to support those initiatives. Today, we're sharing a larger list of key areas you can support - brief summaries and giving instructions (Paypal or Venmo) follow below, with additional details available on our chapter website.
▪ Communications - Sigma Birthright: Support a day trip for the new Sigma Class to Zollinger House in Richmond, VA, to see where it all began and interact with the SigEp Headquarters staff.
▪ Finance - Brotherly Love Scholarship: Begin to endow a financial need scholarship to help cover the cost of $500/semester undergraduate dues.
▪ Philanthropy - Relay for Life Events Fund: Build on DC Gamma's 2016 success as the #13 national Relay for Life fundraising team with raffles, food sales, and other fundraising events.
▪ Programming - SigEp DC SAC Fund: Support the programming calendar with funds dedicated to exploring DC neighborhoods and venues outside the Georgetown bubble.
▪ Recruitment - Welcome Back BBQ: Expand the scope and activities of the DC Gamma annual recruiting kickoff that pulls in most of the men on campus who end up joining our Sigma class.
▪ Standards - Ritual Equipment: Fund the purchase of an additional ritual chest to set up two simultaneous ritual rooms in support of our growing Phi, Epsilon, and Brother Mentor classes.
▪ Member Development - Retreat Fund: Tax-deductible donations to support our chapter's semesterly dry, off-campus retreat can be made on this page by selecting the "DC Gamma Balestrieri Leadership/Retreat Fund" from the dropdown. (Note: this is a separate process from the Venmo/Paypal track described below.)

If no preference is indicated, chapter leadership and the AVC will direct your gift where it’s needed most.
