Hi Everyone,

Good evening from Sam Silverman, Georgetown SigEp's President, and Chris Pace, SigEp's VP Programming. I hope you are all enjoying your summer, wherever you may be. For us spending the summer in Georgetown, it's certainly flying by. It's hard to believe everyone will be back on campus in just a month. Before that, we have two exciting upcoming events and wanted to reach out to let you all know.

First, we are proud to announce that we just kicked our third annual Cura Personalis Scholarship. Each year, a SigEp Cura Personalis Scholarship Committee awards two outstanding members of Georgetown's incoming freshmen class a $250 scholarship to help with the costs attributed to the start of college. Recipients use the scholarship for things such as buying textbooks, traveling to and from home, and decorating dorm rooms. We are hoping to expand the scholarship fund and would deeply appreciate any alumni donations. If you are interested in donating any amount to the Cura Personalis Scholarship, you can Venmo @GUSigEp with the payment description "Cura Personalis Scholarship". If you have any questions about the scholarship or donations, please don't hesitate to reach out to the committee's chair, Penn Conrad (704-778-7716 or po...@georgetown.edu).

Second, for our current brothers and alumni in NYC, we will be having a summer meetup at The Standard Biergarten this Saturday from 2 PM - 7 PM. It'll be a great chance to catch up with familiar faces and meet current undergrads. Come for a beer, stay to retell the old stories you've told a thousand times. Please share this event with any alumni in NYC that might not see this email. Text Chris (914-552-9464) to be added to the Facebook event or with any questions.

HFF,
Sam Silverman
