Join Us for the 2009 Green Jobs Expo


The Green Jobs Expo will showcase the many pathways to green jobs and careers. Free and open to the public, the Expo is this Thursday, Feb.5, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m., at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Take a stroll down D.C. Green Street where you can visit booths that showcase local D.C. green initiatives, programs, and job opportunities - perhaps even interview for a summer internship on the spot! Read more here (www.greenjobsconference.org).


Visit over 85 booths
from academic institutions, manufacturers, non-profit agencies, corporations and governmental agencies highlighting interactive and dynamic displays that portray a multitude of career options in the emerging green economy. Bring your resume!

The Green Jobs Expo Theater will feature presentations throughout the day on trends and academic programs in green jobs. Come hear from green job experts, and take a shot at winning a prize for visiting booth

Hi Irv, I am out of town, returning Thursday afternoon.  I could come directly to the Expo with my luggage, but I will be kind of grubby, as I have about 20 hours of travel time.  Which Marriott is this -- address?  Thank you, Judy
