I was hacked!

I was hacked on my gmail address and probably my Verizon address.

No, I am not in London, and please don’t send me money.

 

To all the people who called and emailed me, thanks a lot for letting

me know. I am not able to get into my gmail account, so I don’t know

who emailed me now but I appreciate you trying to  let me know.

In situations like this, the phone is our best way of communicating.

Molly, It happened to me last month.  You should be able to reset your gmail account.  It happened to me.  I went to the gmail website.  I don't remember exactly how I did it, but gmail asked a couple questions about who I most frequently send emails to and that was used to establish that the account was mine.  My contacts were erased, but you can re-instate them if you click on contacts and follow the prompts for reinstating an earlier list.  They have probably set up your account to automatically forward to them, so check for that.  They may have also changed your security questions.  Judy
