Wild Ginger Herbal Center
Southern Maryland

For 10 years, Wild Ginger Herbal Center has been holding space for community based herbal education at our small herbal center in Southern Maryland.  When we began, our goal was to create life-giving and accessible programs that help our community gain practical knowledge and build relationships with the plants.  Since then we have gone on to host our beloved annual Community Herbal Program each year, our Birthkeepers Program, multiple Permaculture Design Programs, as well as the annual Chesapeake Herb Gathering, and a variety of other programs exploring herbs, farming, gardening, birthwork, and land-based living. Over the years we have regularly hosted Indigenous and BIack led programs for our local community including liberatory, abolitionist, and anti-oppression work - and we hope to continue to offer this space for that work. It is our honor to be in service to our community and thank you for joining us here!
