DREAM Food Entrepreneurship Applications Live

Hi all,

I'm proud to announce that applications for Dreaming Out Loud's DREAM Entrepreneurship Program are now open! Help us get the word out to Ward 7 and Ward 8 entrepreneurs and cooperatives!

Food entrepreneurs will join a community of local food entrepreneurs, coaches, and industry experts to help take them to the next level through a series of workshops and tailored experiences.

Accepted participants will:

• Develop a food business plan/lean canvas
• Obtain ServSafe certification and gain experience utilizing a commercial kitchen
• Learn menu development, product development and costing
• Create HAACP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Program) Plan
• Meet Current DC Makers to hear real life experiences in this process
• Learn pertinent business financials and bookkeeping
• Develop a robust, hands on relationship with local growers and farmers at The Farm at Kelly Miller, and more..
