Oh what a Year & FUN Raiser this Wednesday in DC!

Hello DC Fair Foodies!

its been quite a busy year, for DC Fair Food here are some of the things we accomplished with your Love & Support:

-We did some fundraising and attended the CIW's yearly spring action in Ohio

-A discussion at Montgomery College on Sexual violence towards Women in the Fields

-The Chavez ,Huerta, Itliong day at George Washington University along with the CIW

-An amazing conference on Radical Food Geographies

-Some of our student members wrote a thought provoking report on Food Insecurity at George Washington University

-With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to a beautiful ally and Friend, Ruben Castilla Herrera

-We attended and presented at a Food Justice seminar at George Mason University, where some of the on campus orgs talked about Food Insecurity on campus.

-We participated in the Student Farmworker Alliance, National Day of Action on the Georgetown University campus as well as the George Washington University Campus

-Lastly we had the opportunity to read to several second grade classes at Brent Elementary school and talk to them about the work we do in advocating for farmworker rights.

One of our last events for the spring will be this Wednesday from 7:30-9:30pm at Sonny's pizza in DC.

We have much pizza to celebrate, and are jazzed to sun on the Sonny’s Pizza patio with you. Bring your zeal for fair food + a pal!  The FUN raiser will be centered around our merch + raffle. Get jazzed!**
