Hi DC Fair Food Fam!
we have a Rally/ Protest coming up this Saturday, October 27th at noon. We will be meeting at the Columbia Heights Metro(by the CAVA) at 12pm.
We will leave around 12:30 for the Wendy's at 3900 Georgia Avenue., NW, DC. We should be there by 1pm.
Everyone is welcome to join us, community members, students, please feel free to bring a friend!
There will be a student contingent at Georgetown university , led by folks from Georgetown Solidarity Committee / Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor leaving from Georgetown University at 11:15 am, outside the Front gate on main Campus.
There will also be a George Washington University student contingent, led by GroW Community Garden leaving at 11:30 am from the Foggy Bottom Metro.
*Depending on the weather, we will most likely be there for 45 minutes to an hour. We usually picket for 30-45 minutes and then do a Letter Delivery to the Manager to inform them of why we are outside picketing.
