For Justina and our children

Dear Parents, Grandparents and supporters,

I take a strong stand on supporting this H.R. bill no. 4518

introduced by U.S. Representative Stockman 36th district Texas.

This is our pathway to getting our voice heard and to put

the language in the bill to protect our rights in the area of family law.

What we need to do to get this bill rolling is by letting the good

Rep. Stockman know we support his introduction of this bill and

we (as our group) would like to make

specific recommendations to enhance this bill.

I would like to see the additional protection of

parental rights extend to Family and Juvenile

(so that our children are not stolen or kidnapped)

Courts nationwide, under one Federal law.

It is an election year as our state senators and

representatives will listen to us and guide for Federal oversight

in the areas we need and want to have protection of our

Parental and children's Rights.

I urge everyone to call and/or email our State Legislators

(I gave you their email addresses & phone no. if you need them

let me know and I will forward them to you)

to contact our U.S. Legislators to work with parents and children

on this Congressional H.R. bill no. 4518

Now is the time to push for the protection of our constitutional rights.

Lou and Linda Pelletier brought their daughter, Justina, to Boston Children’s Hospital for flu-like symptoms in February 2013. Justina had been diagnosed with and receiving treatment for Mitochondrial Disease, a genetic medical condition, since 2011. Less than 24 hours after being admitted to Boston Children’s Hospital, mental health workers disagreed with the Mitochondrial Disease diagnosis and insisted she had a psychiatric disorder called Somatoform (though there are no fool-proof medical or genetic tests to validate this as a legitimate medical condition)
