I'm looking to source two Quality Assurance Engineers at my company, Navya Technologies, in Bangalore, immediately.  This requirement is going to grow in the coming weeks as we build out a new QA team. 

 

Navya Technologies is the customer service partner of InterActive Corp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IAC_(company) and http://www.iac.com/) and currently provides services to Match.com/Singlesnet service brands at the company. 

 

Navya is an independent entity in India with 65-70 employees providing content review, phone support, and fraud support to Match.com/Singlesnet's web service.  Now, Navya will also be providing QA support and I'm looking for assistance to recruit and roll out a full team.

 

The job requirements are below.  The candidates may reach out to me directly.

 

Job req:

The Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer will join our growing Quality Assurance team. This person will help verify that the business vision has been turned into physical reality by validating that the sites and systems meet design specifications and requirements
 
Requirements:
    5+ years of relevant QA technical experience
    3+ years experience testing public-facing e-business/e-commerce sites, preferably a high-traffic/volume environment (>100K UVs/day)
    Working knowledge of SQL environments, preferably MySQL; ability to query and manipulate data. (Experience writing SQL queries for data validation, manipulation and verification is required)
    Experience using multiple web browsers (Mac experience highly desirable)
    Functional knowledge of and experience validating HTML, Javascript, CSS
    Highly desirable: Experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and ability to perform in a fast-paced/short cycle environment
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering or related discipline
    Knowledge of any Programming Language is preferred

 

Additional Requirement:

4-5 hour of the work day must overlap with the US work day (9am - 5pm, Central Time)
