Round 1:- On-line aptitude test.
The test had basic questions on series, IQ, quant and english. Apart from them there were questions on graphs from real dunnhumby case works. They were a little tricky to understand. In all 50 questions, to be done in 40 minutes.

Round 2:- Group case study
Teams of four to five were given a data pertaining to one of dunnhumby's clients and 4 questions were to be answered based on the data. The questions involved dealing with expanding customer base, marketing strategies etc. Group work was the key here apart from moving to a logical solution. 12 people were shortlisted for the final interviews.

Round 3:- Personal Interview
4 panels of two people each interviewed the shortlisted candidates. Questions related to how you approached the case study were asked initially. Questions on things mentioned.

Dunnhumby at NSIT this year

It was an online test by an external agency. It had 6-7 sections. You needed to be extremely fast in your calculations. There was one section which had a DI sort of feel to it. It had actual dunnhumby graphs and you were asked to decipher it.

The test consisted of 7 sections:
1) Fast Calculations, 20 ques
2) Word Problems,
3) RC,
4) Sentence Completion,
5) Data Interpretation,
6) Simple Reasoning(finding visual patterns) and
7) a writing section in which we have to write two passages.

Each section was a timed section i.e. it switched automatically to the next section once you run out of the section time. Speed and accuracy were the skills under test.d on your resume were also discussed. Each interview lasted 30-45 minutes.

THIS IS WHAT NSITIANS TOLD

WRITTEN TEST

Online test - 50 MCQs, 40 mins. Each Q had an option 'Do not know the
answer'. Qs which were not answerable by the candidate were to be
marked with this option, instead of being left blank. Candidates were
shortlisted on the basis of accuracy. So 25 correct, 25 not attempted
- accuracy = 50%. 25 correct and 25 marked 'Do not know the answer' -
accuracy = 100%.
