Town Hall Meeting

“Community Issues, Crime, and Criminal Justice”

 

Wednesday, May 14, 2008,

Kelly Miller Middle School Auditorium, 301 49th St., N.E.,

 

The purpose of the event is to provide residents of Ward 7 an opportunity to share their views and concerns about community issues, crime, and criminal justice with their Council representative, judges, police officers and other government officials. Residents will hear from Councilmember Yvette M. Alexander, MPD Police Chief Cathy Lanier, MPD Sixth District Commander Robert Contee, Judge Ann O’ Regan Keary, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court’s Criminal Division, Judge Craig Iscoe, Presiding Judge of the East of the River Community Court, Magistrate Judge Michael McCarthy, Presiding Judge, DC Misdemeanor and Traffic Community Court, Judge Anita Josey-Herring, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court’s Family Court,  Jeffrey A. Taylor, United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, Adrienne Poteat, Deputy Director, Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, and Constance B. Woody, Treasurer, Sixth District Citizens Advisory Council.
