I thought you might like this event I saw on Nextdoor:
A chance to get a basket of harvested & preserved jams, syrups, dried fruits, nuts, cookies, and other home preserved goodies! You bring what you've prepared for the winter (like those squirrels do!) and swap with other folks - last year I ended up with green tomato chutney, tart cherry preserves, chow chow, tomatillo conserves, pepper jelly, dilly beans, sweet haw jam, and so on - what a haul!
Tuesday, October 24, St. Bede's Church 1609 Elm in FG, 6 to 8 pm. Event sponsored by Dairy Creek Community Food Web! You know it's gotta be good! 👩🏼🌾
