Hello friends, Amber is already thinking ahead, and is reminding us to be collecting seeds, also little starts from pruning and trimming, and collecting for next Spring’s DCCFW Plant Sale (Spring Up Plant Sale) . There was a lot of interest in ornamental flowers at the last sale, although few things will be blooming at the time of the sale. If folks will take photos of things they plan to contribute while in fruit and/or bloom, we can cheaply have some small pictures printed to be near them at the sale to give folks an idea of what they will look like.

Also, a friend of mine has started a forest grove based gardening group on facebook, with the hope of also including gleaning and swapping at some point. It is called Seeds, Greens, and Petals and you who garden may wish to join.
